'Empathy is a special way of coming to know one another and ourself, a kind of attuning and understanding. When empathy is extended, it satisfies our needs and wish for intimacy, it rescues us from our feelings of aloneness.' - Carl Rogers

About Me

Hello, my name is Natasha and I was born and brought up in London whilst being of Polish heritage.

For over a decade I have worked in education in various countries and with young people from a multitude of different backgrounds. Throughout my work, I often took on a pastoral role and saw first-hand the vast amount of mental health issues that is prevalent in our society, and the limited resources that are on offer for those suffering from poor mental health.
My commitment in tackling mental health and improving wellbeing not only for young people but for adults alike resulted in me qualifying as an integrative Psychotherapist, where I devote my time to support those who want to focus on improving their mental health and ways of living.

My work focuses on meeting my client in their current world and in their state of mind. I do not follow a typical structure in the way I support clients, as I believe that each individual is unique and therefore requires different support strategies from me. What works well for one client, may not be useful for another, so I also have each client's needs and how they respond to the world in the back of my head when I use any interventions with them.
I believe I have a natural understanding of people and their needs, which has been fed back to me by previous clients who mentioned that they never have had a therapist before who hears their metaphors, imagery, or the way that they describe things and instead of questioning, ignoring it, it or dismissing it, I explore and use it as a way to build on the work that we do together.
This is what good therapy is to me - meeting a client where they are and supporting them in exploring their issues in a safe, non-judgemental way, and in a way that makes them feel understood, heard and seen.
